"Very loungy, very trendy. Cafe Rico is the place to be in Mittelstraße. The menu starts with specialties for breakfast. Ham and Eggs, Quiche, française, cereals or continental. Lunch menu is soup, Quiche or salad with chicken or vegetarian. At afternoon you can enjoy a huge range of tea or coffee with first class cake, creamy cake and tarte. Cafe Rico is top. Staff is always kind and caring!"

The herbs and potatoes were exactly what was needed to make these scrambled eggs something we will not forget. Definitely put it on your list for a tasty and good value treat. Also, pickles. "Delicious food, excellent ambience and wonderful wait staff. We came in the winter and had a lovely brunch sitting alfresco. Prices are affordable and it provides a cosy break from the endless Christmas markets (there is one just around the corner from the restaurant). We had the waffles and kaiserschmarnn (think pancakes/bread pudding) and were absolutely delighted. 10/10 would return and recommend!"

"Nice ambience, great place to have breakfast, brunch or just Drinks. Nice staff and they can also speak english very well. It is a place woth very vibrant vibes. They do have grat options for breakfast, cakes, waffels and pancakes. Prices are decent. They do also offer glutenfree and lactose free options. Reservation are not really required normaly but if there are too many people than better have one."

"Amazing breakfast/brunch and service! The staff here cafe Rico really know how to treat all their customers right. You could tell from a mile away we were a group of tourist wandering around for a hearty breakfast. Unfortunately I don’t remember or know how to pronounce the menu items but I ordered 3 things. The scrambled eggs breakfast platter, the German mini pancakes with vanilla and cherries, and the flamkuchen (German flatbread). First off I didn’t know pickles would work so well with some scrambled eggs and buttered toast. The mini pancakes drizzled with the vanilla sauce (more like a custard) were the best pancakes I ever had. Finally the flamkuchen (bacon one) was delicious, super thin and crunchy with some chew as you get to the middle. Our table ordered about 20 items between 6 of us and we devoured everything. We did however agree that the cakes were more sour then we are used to in the states. Silly Americans right?"
